Project overview
The AOK Media Group is a specialized communication and media partner within the AOK ecosystem, focusing on health, care, and social insurance topics. By combining editorial expertise with strategic communication, the organization develops cross-media solutions that inform, guide, and support people throughout different stages of life.
The project focused on the design and development of editorial and print-based communication materials that translate complex health-related information into clear, accessible, and user-friendly formats.
A central aspect of the work was to ensure consistency with the AOK corporate design while strengthening visual hierarchy, readability, and structured information delivery across various publications.
The outcome supports the broader goal of the AOK to communicate health knowledge effectively, promote preventive thinking, and create trust through well-designed, evidence-based media.
Exhibition Design – Sugar Awareness Campaign
This project focused on the development and design of an educational exhibition addressing sugar consumption and nutritional awareness. The concept and content were provided by nutrition experts, while the visual translation and spatial execution were part of my responsibility.
The goal was to communicate complex dietary information in a clear, engaging, and easily understandable way. By combining physical objects, data visualization, and structured layouts, the exhibition creates a tangible experience that allows visitors to better understand sugar content in everyday food.
A key aspect of the design was the transformation of abstract nutritional data into intuitive visual formats. Through consistent use of the AOK design system, clear typography, and reduced visual language, the information remains accessible while maintaining a strong and recognizable identity.
The result is an interactive and informative exhibition format that supports awareness, encourages reflection, and makes health-related topics more approachable.
Project overview – Sustainability Arena
The Sustainability Arena is an educational initiative by AOK Bayern designed to engage students with topics such as climate change, nutrition, consumption, and resource awareness in an interactive and accessible way. The project combines physical exhibition elements with accompanying learning materials to create a holistic educational experience.
The focus of my work was the visual design and development of a modular communication system that translates complex sustainability topics into clear, structured, and engaging formats. The goal was to support knowledge transfer while encouraging active participation and reflection.
A key aspect of the project was the integration of multiple touchpoints — including exhibition panels, interactive elements, print materials, and educational booklets — all connected through a consistent visual language and information hierarchy.
By combining illustration, typography, and data-driven design, the system enables intuitive navigation through the content and supports different levels of engagement, from quick insights to deeper learning.
The result is a scalable and cohesive educational environment that makes sustainability topics tangible, approachable, and relevant for younger audiences.
